You should try the Jackson Debut, the break in process would be a bit easier and the boots still have good support. They would also last you the same amount of time, going from beginner boots right into boots rated for high intensity jumps is not the best option to choose, it’ is an effective option but I am shure breaking in those boots was not fun or easy . I use the debut and I compete at prelim and am training my axle into consistency, they have lasted me a year so far and are continuing to last at good quality. (I skate 8+ hours a week).

As a beginner skater you should not have these skates I was forbidden from getting them by multiple coaches

I don’t think she started because she is a natural or because she is trying to compete in the Olympics… she does it for the love of the hobby and for fun. It doesn’t matter how good she is, at least she is trying something new and working at it! Everyone starts somewhere. There is a huge difference between recreational skating for fun and serious competition. Key word is for FUN!! It also takes a lot of courage to not be the best but to still show up and try to improve and I think that’s awesome.

The name thing is so relatable. Once over the loudspeaker the man announcing us goes: “kay-lee” “…OH sorry kah-lee” It threw me off XD
